Easton Sports has a very competitive and comprehensive group of employee benefit plans designed for our employees and their dependents, including planning for retirement. The Company believes the diverse needs of its employees can best be met by offering a variety of employee benefits and contributing to their costs. The Company pays the entire cost for the basic life insurance. On the medical and dental plans, Easton pays the majority of the monthly premiums for coverage. Employees will pay the rest through a pre-tax payroll deduction. If our employees want to purchase additional supplemental life insurance or if they want to participate in the Flex Plan, they may pay the cost through pre-tax payroll contributions. 401(k) deferrals from employee paychecks are also done pre-tax.

Medical & Dental Insurance
Easton offers a very competitive medical and dental insurance package to all full-time and part-time employees scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Employees become eligible for medical and dental insurance after completing 30 days of continuous employment on the first day of the following month. For example, if an employee is hired on February 20th, 30 days of employment would be March 20th, and benefits would begin on April 1st. If 30 days of employment fall on the 1st of the month, the employee's benefits would begin on that same day. Coverage is available for employee, spouse and children (up to 19 years of age or 23 years for full time students), and qualified domestic partners.
Easton's medical and dental insurance are together in a package deal, and the employee contribution cost includes both plans. These two plans cannot be separated. Easton offers two types of medical insurance plans under HMO and POS.
